Advanced Clinical Data Collection Tools
This service develops and implements innovative digital solutions for paediatric clinical research, wearable devices, smartphone-based voice pipelines, and integrated biomechanical and biosignal technologies. These tools enable multimodal, longitudinal, and real-time data collection, fully adapted for paediatric use and compliant with GDPR requirements. Outputs include customised ePROs integrated in mobile applications with secure data capture, wearable-based monitoring of activity and vital parameters, and smartphone pipelines for voice recordings with age-specific calibration and machine learning analysis. In addition, advanced biomechanical and bio–signal assessments are offered, including gait analysis, 3D motions capture, upper limb tracking, and synchronised EEG/EMG monitoring, ensuring comprehensive multimodal datasets. These solutions enhance patient engagement, reduce trial burden, and allow sensitive monitoring of novel therapies, which is particularly valuable in small populations cohorts characterised by clinical heterogeneity and limited patient compliance.
