Fostering cooperation to advance paediatric research

EPTRI is happy to announce its membership to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

EOSC goal is to provide European researchers and innovators with an open and trusted multi-disciplinary environment where they can publish, find and reuse data, tools and services for research and innovation.

EPTRI, as a research infrastructure focused on advancing knowledge on children’s growth and ontogeny to foster new paediatric research and providing access to expertise, key technologies, and translational research tools for paediatric innovation, will contribute to shape strategic priorities and influence the EOSC Partnership’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) by incorporating paediatric themes.EPTRI will also advocate for the need of improving the generation and transmission of paediatric health data, decreasing its fragmentation by promoting its organization and integration maintaining high ethical standards.

By joining EOSC, EPTRI will become part of a collaborative network of experts shaping the future of open science in Europe, namely by enhancing the accessibility and visibility of studies on paediatrics and rare diseases, and by driving innovation in paediatric data.
