We are proud to announce that EPTRI, through Dr. Rafał Bartczuk, will be present at the EOSC Symposium 2026: Connecting users, data, and services, at Palazzo dei Congressi, Florence on 14–16 October.
Rafał Bartczuk will be delivering the lightning talk: Paediatric Health Data in EOSC: From Federation to AI, focusing on a Paediatric Node within EOSC. The selection of our abstract highlights the relevance of paediatric health data within the EOSC community.
In this talk, we will present the Paediatric Node concept, which is being developed by EPTRI in collaboration with its members and partners across the European paediatric research ecosystem, and aims to support paediatric research, diagnostic development and future clinical applications.
Bartczuk will illustrate the concept through a use case on AI-supported diagnostics for rare paediatric diseases, a field in which small and distributed cohorts create significant research challenges.
The participation in the EOSC Symposium provides an important opportunity to present EPTRI’s work to the wider EOSC community and to develop new collaborations around paediatric data, interoperability and responsible AI.
