Dr Phylactides is a post-doctoral researcher at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, where his research focuses on haemoglobinopathies, particularly gene therapy approaches for α-thalassaemia and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Pablo Ruiz
Pablo Ruiz is a PhD researcher at the Laboratory of Movement Neurophysiology (NeuroMove) at the Université libre de Bruxelles, focusing on gait analysis and advanced functional assessment in Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Sean Kilbride
Dr Kilbride is Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Regeneron Ireland, with extensive experience in regulatory development across multiple therapeutic areas. He previously worked as a Clinical Assessor at the Health Products Regulatory Authority and holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin.

Nicolas Deconinck
Professor Deconinck is Professor of Paediatric Neurology and Head of the Neuromuscular Reference Center at the Queen Fabiola University Children’s Hospital in Brussels. His research focuses on neuromuscular disorders, particularly Duchenne muscular dystrophy and spinal muscular atrophy, with experience in the clinical development of innovative therapies.

Kun Shi-van Wielink
Dr Shi-van Wielink is International Head of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Santen Pharmaceuticals. She has extensive experience in clinical development, medical affairs and evidence generation across the lifecycle of medicines.
