Translational research: from lab to patients – EPTRI presented at the Enpr-EMA annual open meeting

We are excited to share that our board member, Dr. Donato Bonifazi will be presenting EPTRI’s advancements at the 2025 annual open meeting of the European network of paediatric research at the European Medicines Agency (Enpr-EMA), where he is currently a member of the Coordinating Group on behalf of the TEDDY Network 

This hybrid event will take place on November 20, at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.  

During the session dedicated to Enhancing trial design and conduct, Donato Bonifazi will present the latest innovations by EPTRI in translational research from the lab to the patients and the importance of dedicated research infrastructures in gathering and leveraging expertise to provide cutting edge services to advance paediatric research and therapies.  

The 2025 Enpr-EMA annual meeting aims to share regulatory updates, showcase network activities, and explore innovations in paediatric clinical trials. Key topics include the modernisation of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), implementation of the EU Clinical Trial Regulation, and updates from Enpr-EMA activities and its working groups. The meeting will also highlight advances in trial design, translational research, and the use of real-world data and artificial intelligence.

Enpr-EMA’s annual meeting is a unique opportunity for its networks members as well as other stakeholders, such as health care professionals, patients’ advocates, academia, medicine developers, industries representatives and regulators, to learn about the EMA paediatric research network’s priority activities.
