The EOSC Symposium 2025, organised by EOSC Association, with the support of the EOSC Gravity and EOSC Focus projects, will take place in-person on 03-05 November at the Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels.
The Symposium will gather policy makers, funders, researchers, representatives of research-performing organisations as well as national and pan-European data infrastructures, Research Infrastructures (RIs), and e-Infrastructures. As a RIs working to provide services that accelerate the development of therapies, medical devices and health technologies for the paediatric population, EPTRI will be represented by its members within the EOSC Data Task Force, Dr. Rafal Bartczuk from The Children’s Memorial Health Institute of Warsaw and Dr. Emidio Capriotti from University of Bologna.
The EOSC Data Task Force focuses on the common aspects of the interoperability, sharing and reuse of health data and services among the European Health Data Space (EHDS). It defines the EOSC strategy towards the extensive use of health data in research projects through the identification of special requirements, regulations and the ethical and legal grounds to make the access and processing of health data in the context of EOSC fair and safe.
