EPTRI implements Gender Equality Plan

EPTRI has been implementing a Gender Equality Plan for 2024-2026, included in EPTRI’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy. This reaffirms its alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.  

The Plan consists of 12 focus areas which aim to achieve a set of 15 actions that are distributed over five dimensions, in particular: work-life balance and organisational culture, gender balance in leadership and decision-making, gender equality in recruitment and career progression, integration of the gender dimension into research and teaching content and measures against gender-based violence, including sexual harassment. 

The Gender Equality Plan also provides for a continuous monitoring process of its implementation and activities aimed at its sustainability, so that it continues beyond the lifetime of the project within which it was developed.
