Levi Hoste is a paediatrician and clinical researcher at Ghent University Hospital. He serves as Medical Coordinator of the Belgian Pediatric Clinical Research Network and coordinates the Safepedrug Clinical Trial Unit, a dedicated paediatric clinical trial unit within a tertiary referral centre. His work focuses on the design and conduct of paediatric clinical trials, with particular expertise in rare diseases, advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), and innovative trial methodologies. He is actively involved in several European research initiatives and infrastructures, including EPTRI, conect4children and PRISM. In addition to his clinical and research activities, he is committed to improving access to high-quality clinical research for children and to fostering collaboration between academia, industry and patient stakeholders.
