Prof. Adriana Cristina Balduzzi is a Full Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Milano-Bicocca, where she is affiliated with the Department of Medicine and Surgery. She is also Director of the University’s School of Specialisation in Paediatrics. Her clinical and research work focuses particularly on paediatric haematology and oncology, with expertise in areas including childhood leukaemia, haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, graft-versus-host disease and innovative cellular therapies. Her scientific activity includes research on acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, paediatric acute myeloid leukaemia and other haematological disorders.
Prof. Balduzzi has held several scientific leadership roles in international paediatric haematology and transplantation communities. She has been actively involved in the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and has contributed to international collaborative research in paediatric haematology, transplantation and cellular therapies.
Her recent scientific publications continue to address important challenges in paediatric haematological malignancies and rare diseases, reflecting her commitment to improving treatment and outcomes for children and adolescents.
